Where is Sardinia Island ?

Cape Carbonara and Cavoli Island

Sunrise from my qth  JM49SC

Sardinia Island is my dreamy qth for holidays: beautiful white sandy beaches, clean and crystal clear sea, fine wine, friendly people and  a good spot for radio too...
This year I chose to visit the southern east side of the island  and set my /p qth on the Cape Carbonara promontory, surrounded by the see on three sides.
I operated mainly CW on HF ,6m ond 2 mt with my trusty FT-100 and a new portable multiband antenna just built for the occasion. Prapagation was only average on HF with few DX ouside EU, nice on 6 meter and mediocre on 144 Mhz, anyway  as always I enjoyed so much the radio side of the vacation, and  I hope to be there next year for more activity...

The "antenna farm", a 50 Mhz wire dipole in the background, and my new 14-50 Mhz all band homebrew portable vertical. Size: 25cm when closed, 1,7 meter when fully extended.
