Where is Sardinia Island ? |
Sunrise from my qth JN40UT
|
This year I went to Sardinia Island for two weeks with the intention to do some radio traffic too. I got my FT-100D with me and I was qrv for about 8 days , making about 200 qsos from 40 mts to 70cm. It was not a radio holiday, being there with my family, so could be on the air only during family's free time. Moreover Murphy struck the 8th day and my power supply broke down, preventing me (with my family big relief) to be qrv the last 6 days. Operating from a dreamy beautiful location in front of the sea, its so far better that from a normay city noisy enviroment, so despite a quite bad propagation, I could enjoy some very good DX.
